Rodney Elijah McEachren Jeffrey’s, NL May 27, 1943 – Nov. 15, 2020 It is with much love that we the family of Rodney McEachren mourn his passing on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center, Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 77 years. Originally from Jeffrey’s, NL, our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, friend will be sadly missed and lovinging remembered by his wife of 60 years Una; children: Brenda (Trent) Hulan, Alvin (Shelly) McEachren, Shane McEachren, Vanessa (Ron) King; grandchildren: Desmond, Travis, Andrea, Brandon; step-grandchildren: Jade, Jessica; great-grandchildren: Julia, Noah, Emma, Brody, Krystal, Aljay, Tanisha; sisters: Cathy (Johnny) MacPherson, Myra (Rick) Quilty, Donineka (Brian) King; brother Daniel (Joyce) McEachren as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his father Stephen McEachren; mother Elvina Matchem ; step-father George Matchem and brother Isaac McEachren. We would like to extend a special thanks to his extended family/staff at the BSGLTCC for their care and compassion. To honor and respect Rodney’s wishes cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL. A celebration of life will take place at the Royal Canadian at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a Charity of Ones’ Choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
