Aurelio Aranda, age 75, died peacefully on November 10, 2020 at his home in Vado, New Mexico. Aurelio was born February 21, 1945 in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Angel Aranda and Luz Cercado and was raised by Maria de la Luz Aranda Lara. During his teenage years while in Mexico, he was a feather lightweight boxing champion and moved on to be an emergency medical technician for the Red Cross. He attended high school at Lydia Patterson Institute in El Paso, Texas. Later to retire as a machine operator from Cramer Industries in Kansas City, Kansas. Aurelio was happily married to Maria de la Luz Holguin who was his partner in life for over 49 years at the time of his death. Besides spending time with family and friends, Aurelio was heavily involved as a human rights activists, an AA sponsor, and a devoted Apostolic Christian. He was generous to a fault touching many lives. In his spare time he enjoyed reading or listening to music. His energetic personality and straight forwardness will truly be missed.
