With saddened and heavy hearts Debby Staples (Munn) entered eternal happiness suddenly and moved along to her new chapter of life on November 11th, 2020.<br><br>Debby was a cherished wife to her “beloved Michael” (deceased 2019), a loving mother of Shawn (Lisa) and Kara (Brad); her two precious granddaughters, Madelynn and Olyvia Staples. She will be deeply missed by her siblings, Jennifer Logan (Les Smith) and Geoff Munn (Karen); nephews, Thane and Derek Logan, Chris Munn, and niece, Tanya Flinn; along with many great nephews and nieces.<br><br>Born in Nashwaaksis in 1951, she passed away at the age of 69. During her high school years, she had met her beloved Michael Staples from Devon and the relationship began. They were married for 45 years. Debby attended the University of New Brunswick, graduating to become a schoolteacher. She taught many students and impacted many lives while teaching and mentoring throughout her career. She was a beautiful, radiant, colorful woman who brought her passion to everything she did and inspired people to help others. Debby was an exceptionally strong, proud, tough woman who firmly believed you could do anything you put your mind to, take challenges head on and fight for what one believes in, and never quit. She believed in volunteering and in ‘community' to make the world a better place. Debby was an avid quilter, bowler, and walker, staying very active after her retirement. Debby has joined her soul mate, where they have found themselves back together again writing a new story.<br><br>A Memorial Service by invitation only will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 1 pm with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. The service can also be viewed through the funeral home’s website (Funeral Webcast). For those who wish, donations may be made to the Fredericton SPCA, ALS Society of New Brunswick or the Canadian Diabetes Association. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
