Hazel A. Klim Obituary

Hazel A. Klim, 95, passed away on Saturday November 14, 2020. She was born and raised in Hamilton Township. Hazel was a swell gal. She served for exactly 30 years as a Public Health Nurse for the Hamilton Township Board of Health, and school nurse at Holy Angels and St. Anthony High School. Hazel was a loyal friend to all who knew her. Her positive, vibrant spirit will be missed. Predeceased by her parents, Anna (Austin) and Gordon Jamieson; two sisters, Margaret Hollis and Euphemia Jamieson; and at a young age, her first husband, Robert Phillips and then her husband of 35 years, Peter J. Klim. She is survived by her children, Carol (Buzz) Gray, Donald (Barbara Smith) Klim, Joyce (Victor McDonald) Phillips, and Carol (Robert) Hartel. Hazel will be missed by her beloved grandchildren, the talented Kristen Gray, adventurous Brett (Megan) Gray, energetic Kimberly (Eric) Hartel, athletic Andrew Hartel, and entrepreneurial Sami (Allison) Akbay. Hazel’s legacy also includes six great-grandchildren, Kaan and Bora Akbay, Sky Lyric Raye, and Lanning, Jude and Bodie Gray. She is also survived by her sister, Ann Smith; several nieces and nephews; and her two nursing school classmates, Ruth Gage and Fran Grohala. Due to the pandemic, funeral services will be private under the direction of Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
