Betty Gene Strang & Donald Gale Strang

Betty Gene Strang passed away peacefully at her home in Gisela, Arizona at the age of 89 on November 9, 2020.  Donald died of a broken heart November 14, 2020.  Married for 70 years, Don and Betty left behind their two daughters, Donna and Sandra, and six grandchildren: Neil, Gary, Joshua, Emily, Scott and Alexander. 

Donald was born in Alamogordo, N.M.  to Charles and Lora Strang.  He served in the Army, graduated from ASU and served the public school system in Scottsdale for 30 years.

Betty was born in Wink, TX to Kline and Edith Gidcumb and moved to a ranch near Springerville, AZ at a young age. Betty could do anything she set her mind to. She loved sewing, painting, ceramics and many other creative pursuits. 

Donald & Betty met and married in Prescott and raised their family in Scottsdale. They enjoyed spending time at the cabin they built near Christopher Creek and later moved to Gisela. They enjoyed carpentry, hunting, fishing and camping and working together on many things.
