Kimberly S. Marlin Lake Worth, Florida Obituary

Kimberly S. Marlin

Kim Marlin, 52, of Hypoluxo, FL went to be with God on Thursday, November 15, 2020 after suffering from a brain aneurysm. Kim was an incredible wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and “glamma”. She lit up any room she walked into. She had a love for life. She enjoyed many things but was also good at many things. She was born and raised in the Ashtabula, OH area. Early in life her passion was horses. She grew to become an incredible horse woman and was very active in 4H showing horses and later being a 4H leader. Her love of horses grew into a love for animals, and she was known by many as the one to call if you had a question about dogs, cats, birds, or horses. She took this passion as far as running a small business selling animals with a friend. Later in life she met her husband Tim Marlin and moved to Michigan to be with him; They got married on April 9th 2003. In Michigan she worked for Caledonia Farmers Elevator where she was the AP and office manager. In Michigan she found a love for boating and enjoyed nothing more than to be on Lake Michigan on the boat. Boating brought her great pleasure and many, many life time friends, for whom she felt a great love. 6 years ago, she and her husband Tim moved to Florida to be closer to her mom Rita Arnett and to be able to boat year round. Being in Florida allowed her to pursue her passion of being in the sunshine and being in, near or on the water. She loved going to the pool at the condo complex to enjoy the sun, water and some very incredible friends. She also learned to bling out insolated cups and was known all over for her fancy cups. She also spent time transporting her elderly friends who began to rely on her for getting them around to different appointments and back and forth from the airport. Kim was always a caring, loving and giving person. In her death she continued that legacy by donating some of her organs so others might live. Kim leaves behind her loving husband Tim Marlin, sons Justin (Samantha) and Jeremey (Melanie) Reinke, daughters Whitney (Pat) Clarke and Anna (Steven) Ventresca, brothers Addison James (Tara) Weldy and Bob (Deann) Evanchak, sisters Tricia (Matt) Dunham and Leann (Jeff) McClimans, mother Rita (Butch) Arnett and dad Addison James (Clara) Weldy, two grandchildren Logan and Carly Reinke, sisters-in-law Rev. Eunice (Ken) Brubaker and Alice Palmer, brother-in-law Bob (Cathy) Marlin, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A time of gathering is plannedd for Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 5pm to 6:30pm at the All County Funeral’s Del Lago chapel at 131 S. Lakeside, Lake Worth Florida, where a Celebration of Life will follow at 6:30pm. The service will be officiated by Kim’s sister-in-law Rev. Eunice Brubaker. Her ashes will then be scattered at her favorite boating location in West Palm Beach and later this summer on Lake Michigan.
