Timothy Ashe

Timothy Ashe, 33, lifelong resident of Baxter Springs went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 12. Tim was born February 18, 1987 in Joplin, MO. Tim was a 2005 graduate of Baxter Springs High School. Tim was always proud of his hometown, his home state, and especially his Kansas Jayhawks, evident by the KU tattoo on his arm. Tim worked as a Sales Manager for KMT in Baxter Springs. Tim was an asset for KMT, loved his job, and valued the friendships that he made at KMT. KMT was a true work family for Tim. Tim married his soulmate and best friend, Lindsay, on September 18, 2010. Tim and Lindsay were a beautiful example of what a marriage should be. Tim truly believed he married the prettiest girl in the world. Tim and Lindsay had two beautiful children that they adored. Camden Eric, 12, and Kalyn Elaine, 8. Tim is now with the unborn baby that they lost in 2008. Tim’s greatest joy in life was being a Dad. Everything in his life revolved around his Wife and kids. Tim was incredibly close with his parents, Jerry and Renae’ They had a special bond with Tim and were not just parents to Tim, but great friends. Tim’s best friends were his older brothers, Grant and Chad. Tim was a loyal brother and shared so many special memories with his Brothers. They were very proud of “Little Timmy.” Tim was an avid Fisherman, loved KU Basketball, enjoyed listening to 90’s Country Music and Elvis Presley, riding horses, watching Seinfeld, and never met a Dog he didn’t want to pet. Tim was extremely spontaneous and always up for a road trip. Tim was proceeded in death by his sister, Becki, his grandparents Roy Garvin and Louise Garvin and Don and Doris Ashe. Tim is survived by Lindsay, Camden, Kalyn, his parents, Jerry and Renae’ his parents-in-law Susan and Steven Gough, Danny and Kendra Henderson, brothers Grant and wife Meghan, Chad and Laci, nieces and nephews that he adored and a ton of friends. Tim will be remembered by his family and friends as someone who was loving, loyal, and would defend those he loved with a passion. There will never be someone like Tim, he was the definition of one of a kind. He will be missed and loved forever. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Crossroads Christian Church, Baxter Springs, KS. Cameron Woodring will officiate. Burial will be in Baxter Cemetery, Baxter Springs, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel, Baxter Springs, KS.
