<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>LYNCHA ADOLPHUS JOHNSON, Ill </strong>was born February 17, 1945, to the late Lyncha Adolphus Johnson, JR, and Dorothy B. Johnson-Winfrey.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Lyncha</strong> attended St. Anthony Parochial School and Father Bertrand High School in Memphis, Tennessee. He excelled not only in academics but in athletics. He was gifted four scholarships for college choosing St. Louis&#39;, Lincoln University. It was at Lincoln that he received his degree in education. Upon graduating from Lincoln University, he became an educator with the St. Louis School System and also worked with Mathew Dickey Boys Club where he coached basketball. Coach Johnson loved helping the youth in the community and was deeply loved by them all.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><em>&quot;Doc&quot;</em> as he was fondly called had the charm and charisma that graced him with many lifelong friends.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Lyncha </strong>was one who loved his family and always made them laugh by the antidotes he would share. Lyncha was a wonderful son, father, grandfather, nephew, and cousin. His son, Lyncha Adolphus Johnson, IV preceded him in death.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Lyncha</strong> is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Mrs. Dorothy B. Winfrey; his children, Lisa (Ray), Holly, and Eric (Megan); ten grandchildren; his aunts, Mrs. Jerline B. Taylor, Mrs. Ernestine B. Dorsey, and Mrs. Christina H. Phillips; sister, Kimberly Reynolds, and a very special Care-giving, Mrs. Norma Stunson, and many other relatives and friends.&nbsp;</p>

LYNCHA ADOLPHUS JOHNSON, Ill was born February 17, 1945, to the late Lyncha Adolphus Johnson, JR, and Dorothy B. Johnson-Winfrey.
