Hollis Satnarine

Hollis aka Bill was born the son of Joseph and Louise Satnarine of Cuva Trinidad and Tobago on March 25th, 1940. He left his home in Trinidad for St Lucia in 1963 where he met his wife Barbara Campbell. They were married on June 17th, 1964 after which the returned to Trinidad to start their life together. In 1973 Bill was fortunate to get an opportunity to move to America and work for Virginia Power. They ended up getting settled in Manassas VA where they lived and met some lifetime friends. Bill loved to work around the house and in the yard with Barbara and his list of projects were never ending. Bill loved his Brandy and listening to music, his favorites included Jim Reeves, Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Marty Robbins. El Paso was his favorite song, and he was no stranger to the dance floor. Bill leaves his loving wife Barbara who he spent many happy years with. Even after so many years they were still in love as the day they met. He was preceded by Sister Marlene; he is survived by his brothers Frank and Howard; nephews Anthony, Roger, Hayden, Mark and Niece Sharada. He is also survived by his loving cousins from Canada and Trinidad, adopted family daughter Chandra; grandkids Neera, Satesh and great-grand dog Romeo. Bill loved telling stories of his of his travels while working and his time spent on the oil rig. He will be missed by all of us and will remain in our hearts until we meet again.
