Jeremy David Seib – age 43, of Hays, Kansas died Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas.  He was born June 29, 1977, in Hays, Kansas to Don & Janice (Stramel) Seib.

He worked at ELI Wireline Service in Hays.  He grew up in Munjor, attended Munjor Grade School, and was a 1995 graduate of Hays High School where he played football.

Jeremy was known as “Doob” to his friends, was an avid football fan and followed the Denver Broncos.  He enjoyed cooking, especially BBQ, and participated in a number of contests with his friends, frequently taking top honors.

Survivors include his parents, Don and Janice Seib, Munjor, KS; two sisters, Annette Thorpe and husband, Tom, Colorado Springs, CO; Sarah Leiker and husband, Jerrett, Munjor, KS; grandparents Tony and Wilma (Stecklein) Seib, Munjor, KS; two nephews, Logan and Zachary Leiker; two nieces, Lauren Thorpe and Brooke Leiker; along with many uncles and aunts.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Hubertine (Urban) Stramel of Pfeifer, KS; his uncle, Leslie Stramel and wife, Catherine; his aunt JoAnn Billinger.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society in care of Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.

Memorial Graveside services 10:30 AM Saturday, April 24, 2021 at St. Francis Cemetery, Munjor, Kansas.  A reception will follow at the Hays VFW.
