High Shoals, North Carolina Robert E. Hadden, 87, of High Shoals, went to be with his Lord on November 13, 2020 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born April 30, 1933 in Zoar, Ohio a son of the late Harold and Clara Hadden. Robert was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He served in the United States Army and worked as a millwright. In his retirement, he enjoyed building birdhouses that have been sold worldwide. He is known as the "Bird Man" to many. He led a long and happy life. Robert will live on in our thoughts and memories. He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Jean Hadden; daughters, Debby Agnew and husband Bruce of Vale, NC, Lisa Armstrong and husband James of Magnolia, OH; and Bobbi Hadden of the home; sons, Larry Wyant and wife, Sue of Canton, OH, and Eric Hadden of Kensington, OH; brothers, Gary Hadden of Canton, OH, Henry Hadden of E. Sparta, OH; sister, Betty Hoopes of Minerva, OH and FL; Grandchildren Michael and wife Rhonda, Aimee, Joshua, Nikki and husband Antone, Taylor, Megan, Rebekka, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren Owen, Cameron, Shianne, Krystian, John, Elijah, Marina, Silas, and Liam great-great-grandchildren Aidin, Lillybelle and Gabriel. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his siblings, Harry, Jr., Lillian, Margaret, Juanita, James, and Harold. There are no services planned at this time.
