She was born on October 05, 1928 in Fruitland, New Mexico to Hosteen and Annie Yellowman. Born to Ta&#39;neeszhnii and born for Ashiihi.<br /> <br /> Lucy was known for her weaving and farming. She was a loving mother and Nalie. She was on the quiet side but always wanting to lend a hand. She planted corn, vegetables and alfalfa for many years. She was a very hard working lady. She knew very little English but knew how to ask for ice cream. Lucy will be missed, our beloved mother and grandmother. May she be a shining star of light from above.<br /> <br /> Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, Hosteen Yellowman , Annie Yellowman, brothers, George Yellowman, Howard T. Yellowman (Veteran), James Yellowman and David Yellowman.<br /> <br /> Lucy is survived by her son, Lorenzo J. Yellowman.<br /> <br /> A Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at Kirtland Fruitland Cemetery, Kirtland, New Mexico, officiated by Pastor Tom Yellowman, Jr.<br /> <br /> Lucy&#39;s care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel of Kirtland, 458 Road 6100, 505-598-9636. Lucy Yellowman, 92, of Nenahnezah passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 in Farmington, New Mexico. She was born on October 05, 1928 in Fruitland, New Mexico to Hosteen and Annie Yellowman. Born to Ta'neeszhnii and born for Ashiihi.

Lucy was known for her weaving and farming. She was a loving mother and Nalie. She was on the quiet side but always wanting to lend a hand. She planted corn, vegetables and alfalfa for many years.
