Roger Earl Harlan, 58, Overland Park, Kansas passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020 at his home. Private family visitation 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster, Spring Hill, Kansas 66083 (913) 592-2244. Graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Spring Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com Roger was born on December 11, 1961 to Roger Earl and Marvel Dianne (Johnston) Harlan in Topeka, Kansas. He was a lifelong Johnson County resident, growing up in Olathe, Kansas. Roger graduated from Olathe High School in 1980. He was married to Natalie Harlan. Roger was a self-employed brick mason. He enjoyed motorcycles and BBQ contests. Roger was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He will be missed by his family and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his father Roger and daughter Ashley Harlan. He is survived by his wife Natalie, Shawnee, Kansas, mother Dianne and stepfather Rod Cowell, Spring Hill, Kansas; son Roger Harlan III and grandson Gage, Sacramento, California; sisters Jane Stewart, Grandview, Missouri and Nikki Chapman, Paola, Kansas.
