Brian W. Hickerson, age 66, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland due to complications during open heart surgery. Devoted husband to Linda Lee Hickerson for over 25 years and loving father to John, brother to Alan and Craig (Shaila) Hickerson. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Agnes Hickerson. He is also survived by his sisters in law Anita (Turk) Hemseri, Julie Piolunek, Aunt Margaret Baurmann, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mourn his loss. His deep voice and infectious laugh will remain in our memories. Born in Albany, New York on August 4th, 1954 his family relocated to Maryland where he resided until his death. He grew up in Calverton and attended High Point High School. He was sole proprietor of Hickerson Drywall and later Hickerson Painting LLC. He had strong values and worked hard his entire career as a carpenter, drywall man and painter. He enjoyed being outdoors, camping and fishing being his favorite past times. He also enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams including the Washington Nationals, the Washington Capitals and the Washington Redskins. After he and Linda Lee were married they resided for a short time in Laurel until they built their dream home and moved to Ellicott City. There he served as President of Bethany Valley Homeowners Association and volunteered with MADD Maryland. He was a beloved member of the Bay Princess Condominium community in Ocean City where he and Linda Lee enjoyed spending their time together. He will be desperately missed by all including his beloved four legged feline, Lucy.
