It is with broken hearts that the family of the late BERNARD MURPHY of Parker’s Cove announces his passing. Bernard passed away at his home in Parker’s Cove on Thursday, November 12th, 2020, at the age of 78. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Marion of 51 years; daughter, Elaine Jackman (Colin) of Creston South; 1 grandchild, Emily Jackman; sisters, Philomena Durnford (Roger) of Creston South, and Violet Murphy (John) of Marystown; sister-in-law, Eileen Murphy of Marystown; John (Cecilia) Murphy, Thomas (Madeline) Murphy, Mary (Randell) Hayes, plus a large circle relatives and friends. Bernard was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Sarah Ann Murphy; sisters, Katie Lundrigan, Stella Moores and Alice Hickey; brothers, Robert Murphy, Jim Murphy, and Patrick Murphy.

The Murphy Family will be accepting visitors at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Parker’s Cove on Saturday, November 14th from 6:30pm to 9pm and Sunday, November 15th from 10am to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Parker’s Cove on Monday, November 16th at 11am.

Interment to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Cemetery in Parker’s Cove.
