Robert Woodrow Tyndale, Sr.

Robert Woodrow Tyndale, Sr., 78, of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, Mr. Tyndale proudly served in the US Army National Guard for several years. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Rider University, Class of 1965, then went on to work as a truck driver for Ryder Systems, Inc. in Lumberton, NJ. He retired in November 2007. After retirement he enjoyed being a crossing guard in Hamilton Township for 10 years. In his spare time Mr. Tyndale enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Predeceased by his parents, Woodrow Wilson and Olive (Austin) Tyndale; he is survived by his loving wife on 55 years, Janet Leigh (Vandewater) Tyndale; his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Woodrow, Jr. and Jill Tyndale, and Russel Wayne and Heather Tyndale; his grandchildren, Jacob C., Molly M. Natalie A., Tyler D., and Brooke S.; his brothers and sisters–in-law, Edward J. and Naomi Tyndale, and David L. and Betti Tyndale; and his 5 nieces and 3 nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Central: A Christ-Centered Church, 2015 Pennington Road, Ewing Township, NJ 08618. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown, NJ. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at Central: A Christ-Centered Church. Due to funeral restrictions, the staff at the Saul Colonial Home, respectfully requests that all funeral attendees please wear a face covering during the services for Mr. Tyndale. We appreciate your cooperation. and thank you. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mr. Tyndale’s memory to Central: A Christ-Centered Church, 2015 Pennington Rd., Ewing Township, NJ 08618. Arrangements are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
