Saint Albans – Joseph Mitchell Mott, a lifelong area resident passed away at home on Tuesday, November 10th, 2020, with his family at his side. Born in St. Albans on February 16, 1965, he was the son of the late Louis J, Mott, Sr. and Janice Mae (Ladue) Mott. Joe was 55 years old. Joe worked as a handyman with his lifelong friend, Steve Morgan, a job he found great enjoyment in. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and exploring caves. The greatest love in his life was his children and family. He shared an especially close relationship with his sister, Regina Mott and the love of his life, Amy Daudelin. Joe is survived by his children, Joseph, Corey, Ciarra and Savanna Mott, as well as his siblings, Linda Miller, James Mott, Sr., Louis Mott, Karen Selig and Regina Mott and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Louis, Sr. and Janice, Joe was pre-deceased by a brother, Louis Mott, Jr. on July 13, 2020. Due to COVID-19, a celebration will be held later next summer.
