Jonathan Earl Bilbrey Obituary

On Sunday, November 8, 2020, Jonathan Earl Bilbrey, loved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at the age of 49. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020, with visitation starting at 10:30 am, followed by a small service at 11:30am, behind McDonald Funeral Home under the Tent).. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Jon was born in Canton, OH. He spent his childhood in Hartville, OH, Edmonton, KY, and Picayune, MS. Jon spent many years gathering friends, adventures, stories, and dogs in Durango and Telluride, CO, all fondly and frequently recalled. He was once quoted by The Telluride Daily Planet stating, “I don’t practice what I preach, cause I’m not the kind of person I’m preaching to.” Jon started every story with “I’ve probably already told you this”, and he probably already had, but he was going to make you listen to it anyway. Preceded in death by his parents, James and Patricia Bilbrey. Forever remembered by his much older sister, Tracey Lyn Bilbrey, his better looking brother Andrew (Patti) Bilbrey, and his “other brother” Dwayne (Bette Lou) LaVigne. Left to keep his stories alive are his nieces and nephews. Devon Bacchi in Arizona, Justin (Wei Song) Isenberg in China, Jessica Isenberg in Mississippi, James Bailey Fogerty in South Korea, and Sean Andrew Fogerty in Ohio as well as his great niece, Julia Diane Isenberg.
