Rozina Rose Cran (nee Stangl)

1969 - 2020

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Rose Cran on November 12, 2020. Rose was predeceased by her mother Mary Stangl (nee Moroz), and sister Darlene Onofrey (nee Stangl) (Jerry). Rose is survived by her husband John Cran, son Dallas, daughter Sara, father Albert Stangl, brother Clarence (Rhonda), sisters Brenda, and Shirley (Paul), and nieces and nephews Jenny, Ray, Dale, Nikki, and Brandy; as well as her mother-in-law Beverley Johansen and sister-in-law Jill Cran.

Rose spent her entire life in the St. Andrews and Selkirk area. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and was always there when they needed her. She loved reading, and also enjoyed music and watching horror movies. Rose spent a lot of her time caring for and nurturing her nieces and nephews when they were young. When her children were born they became her entire world and meant everything to her.

The family would like to say thank you to the Tyndall Place, Areas 1 and 5 staff. They showed her care and compassion every day for the last two years. A special heartfelt thank you goes to Pauline for going above and beyond in her care for Rose.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
