Mary Ellen Morrissey
Mary Ellen Morrissey passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at home with her son Michael by her side. Mary was born July 25, 1933 in Andover, Ma. She was the youngest child of Thomas F. and Martha (Farnam Goodwin) Morrissey’s nine children. Mary attended St. Augustine grammar school and graduated from Punchard High School in 1951. During WWII four of her brothers served in the military either in Europe or the Pacific, all returned home safely. Mary worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist and lived in Dracut, MA. She is predeceased by her parents and her eight siblings, Thomas, Margaret, Walter, James, Catherine, William, Edward and Richard. She is the last of that generation of Morrisseys. Mary is survived by her son Michael who has been her comfort and strength and the center of her life. Mary was a kind and gentle soul and se will be missed by her family. Funeral arrangements will be held privately.Obituary
