Susan Elizabeth Bastianelli
<p>Susan Elizabeth Bastianelli, age 79, passed away November 8, 2020. It is suspected that Alex Trebek’s death play a part in her passing. Susan was originally from Norwich, NY. She became a flight attendant and married her husband John in 1969. They spent most of their married life in California before retiring to Las Vegas, NV. Susan remained in Las Vegas until last year when her son and daughter-in-law bribed her into moving to Knoxville, TN (all they had to say was grandkids). Susan was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Julia Gray, her husband John M. Bastianelli, and stepdaughter Janet Bastianelli. She is survived by her brother Robert (Bob) Gray, her two sons Michael and Scott Bastianelli, stepson John Bastianelli Jr, stepdaughter Linda Bastianelli-Hoffman and her husband Bill Hoffman, daughter-in-law Michelle Bastianelli, grandchildren Christe, Benjamin, and Elizabeth, and great grandchildren Caden and Ayla. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 13th, 2020 at 9:00 am at Star Mortuary in Henderson, NV. She will be laid to rest with her husband John Bastianelli at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Friday, December 4th, 2020 at noon. Susan loved flowers, so we will not say in lieu of, but she also loved to give. Some of her favorite charities were St. Jude’s, March of Dimes, and SafeNest of Las Vegas.</p>Obituary
