Darrell Beal, 77, of Concho Road, Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Carlsbad Medical Center. Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 10:00 AM, at Happy Valley Baptist Church with Terrell McBee officiating. Cremation has taken place. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Darrell Beal, Sr. was born July 3, 1943 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Charles Monroe and Ruth Irma (Mears) Beal. He graduated from Cross High School, Cross, SC, in 1961. Darrell married Linda Daniel, June 1, 1963 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Darrell never turned down the opportunity to be with his kids and grandkids. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, sons: Shawn Beal and Darrell Beal, Jr. and sister: Wilma Mae Roberson. Survivors are wife: Linda Beal; son: Rocky Beal; daughter: Dawn Glaze; grandchildren: Kirk Glaze, Ryan Beal and wife, Chelsea, Amber Franco and husband, Sammy, Ethan Beal, Tyler Glaze, Taylor Glaze, Rocky Beal, Charlie Beal and Randy Beal and wife, Ruby; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters: Elizabeth Nelaborski and husband, Jimmy, Grace Shores and husband, David, Barbara Ross and husband, Ricky and numerous nieces and nephews.
