Tammey Harrison, 56, of Vassar, KS and previously of Carbondale, KS died Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at West of Overbrook, KS on KS Highway 56.

She was born January 15, 1964 in Sterling, KS the daughter of Eugene Harrison and Pat (Hamilton) Harrison.  Tammey grew up in the Carbondale area and lived nearly her entire life there until moving to Vassar this past January.

Tammey was a care giver working for TARC in Topeka for many years and also for Resource Center for Independent Living also in Topeka.

Tammey was one of the most selfless people you would ever meet.  She would give someone anything the needed.  She was constantly sacrificing herself and her time for others.  Her family was always first.  She cared and loved them with her entire life and the care for Brad showed just how dedicated to her family she was. She always loved to go camping and was an avid Chiefs fan.

She is survived by three sons; Martin Padilla, Carbondale, KS, Bradley Padilla, Carbondale, KS, Travis Padilla, Carbondale, KS; two grandchildren, “Lil” Marty Padilla, Carbondale, KS, Avery Padilla, Carbondale, KS; mother, Pat Harrison, Eureka, KS; brother, Randy Harrison, Vassar, KS; four sisters, Brenda Durkin, Eureka, KS, Kathy Pfannenstiel, Topeka, KS, Rhonda Newman, Eureka, KS, Kim Timmons, Auburn, KS; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Harrison and a sister, Karen Cartwright.

To celebrate Tammey’s life, a visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 730 Western Heights Drive, Overbrook, KS 66524.  A Memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.  A Celebration of Life will then occur Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Four Corners Steakhouse & Lounge, Scranton, KS for family and close friends.   Face masks during all events are strongly encouraged.
