Janice Swearingen Woods, age 95, of Hot Springs, formally of Arkadelphia, passed away November 11, 2020.  She was born April 8, 1925 to the late Sterling Swearingen and Ida Voss Swearingen in the Manchester Community.  She is also preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, James C. Woods, Sr. and her sister, Stella Smith.

Janice was a member of Macedonia Primitive Baptist Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and doing jigsaw puzzles.

Janice is survived by her son, James C. Woods, Jr. and wife Janie of Hot Springs; and granddaughter, Dr. Jennifer Woods and husband Alan Zidek of Parker, CO.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Delamar Cemetery in Manning.
