She grew up in Bristol, graduating from Bristol schools and spent some time living in West Hartford, prior to settling in Plainville, where she has resided for the last seven years. Brenda previously worked as a server for many years in the restaurant industry and was a volunteer at the voting polls. She was a strong, faithful, woman who was always putting others before herself. Her life was not always easy, as she battled her struggles, but never once complained and always remained positive, refusing to give up. Over the last two years, Brenda reached her goal of a life of sobriety, which truly saved her and brought her back to be with her family, where she was happiest. She fought to find her way back home and finally did. All around, she was a beautiful person inside and out and always lived life with a smile on her face. She enjoyed cooking, decorating, and serving others. She also enjoyed the outdoors, especially sun bathing at the beach and camping. She led a life of simplicity; as long as she had her cup of coffee and knew her children were okay, she was fulfilled.
