Lewiston- Christine L. Mitchell, 53, a resident of Jay, passed away Wednesday morning. November 11th, at St. Mary’s D’Youville Pavillion. She was born September 29, 1967 in Gardiner, the daughter of James Hyde and Katherine (Wallace) Hyde. She graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1986. In July of 1998, she married Jeffrey Mitchell in Litchfield. Christine worked as a retail clerk. She is survived by her husband and her children; Dalton and Morgan Mitchell, all of Jay.
