Tracy Antley

Graveside services for Tracy Antley, 60, of Jal, NM will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Jal Cemetery with Bro. Jody O'Briant officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home of Lovington, NM. Tracy was born on November 1, 1960 in Farmington, NM to Alvin Lee and Jerre Layne (Jones) Antley and passed away on November 9, 2020 in Albuquerque, NM. Tracy lived in Farmington until he was about 8 years old and then the family moved to Jal. He graduated from Jal High School and attended Angelo State University for one year. While in School he lettered in football and basketball and some golf. He later really enjoyed playing golf and going fishing and deer hunting, but one of his favorite things to do was drag racing. He had Tracy's Shell Station for several years and also had a little coffee shop inside, that the highway department, the police and quite a few others frequented at five in the morning for their coffee supply to get their start on the day. Tracy was a quiet man, pretty laid back and not a troublemaker and had a huge heart full of love for his family. All his nieces and nephews had a special name for him, he was "TaTa" to them and no one else could call him that but them. He loved each one and if he told them to do something, they minded. He was their hero! Preceding him in death were his grandparents: Robert Lee and Florence Jones and Lawson and Ruth Antley. Surviving him are his parents: Alvin and Jerre of Jal; one brother: Larry and wife Cendy Antley of Wink, TX; one sister: Kelly and husband Billy Elliott of Jal and his very special and loved one: Lavodis May; five nieces and nephews: Jeremy, Rebekah, Rachel, Aaron, Lauren and four great-nieces and nephews: Cammeron, Kyndell, Kyra and Luke and a host of good friends.
