Myron L. Bauer of Wellington, Kansas, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Homestead Assisted Living in Wellington, Kansas. Myron was born the son of Alfred and Mary Bauer on May 31, 1933 in Bismark, North Dakota. Myron married Dorothy Ping and together they celebrated 50 years of marriage. The couple built and owned Bauer's Liquor Store for 25 years. After the sale of the business they enjoyed traveling together. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Wellington, Kansas; son, Michael Bauer (Cindy) of Wellington, Kansas; daughter, Michelle Havner (Lonnie) of Wellington, Kansas; daughter, Priscilla Goodman (Ray) of Boerne, Texas; grandchildren: Andrew Bauer (Bailey), Joshua Bauer, Lars Bergman, Travis Bergman, Brandon Hartzell (Daniel), Eddy Goodman and 7 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Donna Furman and his son Mark Arnett. Graveside services for Myron will held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his loving memory to St. Jude's Research Hospital. Contributions may be mailed or left with the funeral home. Arrangements are by Cornejo Funeral Home and Crematory, Wellington, Kansas.
