Shane Arbo Obituary

Greenville, RI & Mattawamkeag - Shane Roland Arbo, 51, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 unexpectedly, but peacefully at his residence in Rhode Island. He was born March 15, 1969 in Millinocket, the son of Frances Roland Arbo and Linda Marie (LaBrecque) Arbo. Shane grew up in Mattawamkeag and graduated from Mattanawcook Academy with the Class of 1989. He then worked locally for some time before his career took him out of State where he traveled doing what he enjoyed most, welding and pipefitting Shane got to see much of the Country during his work career and sharing his adventures with his family, friends along with his many pictures he took along his travels was something he enjoyed. Shane was well known for being a prankster, always having a joke, and his laughter, and making others laugh. But he will be remembered most for his huge heart for those in need. Shane is survived by his mother Linda Jarvis of Lincoln and her husband Michael Jarvis, a son Cameron Mcgreevy of Lincoln, a daughter Myah Littlefield of West Enfield, two sisters: Sheila LaChance and her husband Marc LaChance of West Enfield, Darcie Twist and her husband Brant Twist of Mattawamkeag. He also leaves behind his niece’s and nephew’s he genuinely enjoyed: Breighane Arbo and Frank Inman: daughter and son of Sheila and Marc. Hailee, Jaicie and Brayden: daughter’s and son of Darcie and Bryant. He also leaves behind several Aunts and Uncles that he enjoyed staying in contacting with throughout the years with surprise phone calls on special occasions as well as many cousins he had special relationships with. To those work friends, thank you! He was predeceased by his father Roland Arbor in 2004 who he missed greatly but took great honor by caring on the skills his dad so proudly taught him. Graveside committal services will be held 1 PM Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Mattawamkeag Cemetery. There will be a graveside memorial for Shane. Being Shane’s love for dogs he would be honored if donations were made to his sisters rescue in lieu of flowers: Shepherds Beyond Borders, P.O. Box West Enfield, ME 04493.
