Jean Snider Miklic

April 10, 1935 – November 7, 2020

Jean Miklic, wife, mother and grandmother, has joined her heavenly father. She is survived by her husband Frank W. Miklic III, her daughter Lisa M. McCraw and spouse J. Tracy McCraw, and her beloved granddaughter Allison McCraw. Jean was proceeded by her son, Lance William Miklic.

Jean was a natural Basketball Athlete, Civic Leader and Business Honors Student at Chilton County High School and Alverson Draughon College, graduating from both with honors and awards. Jean’s existence soon was wrapped into a 65 year bond to her husband for life, the two children she raised, and the grandchild she mentored, all while maintaining a lifelong devotion in the field of bookkeeping. Jean was the strength, arbitrator and love of our family, and a beacon of southern charmed hospitality to ALL those that knew and loved her. Being a caregiver her entire life, both at home and at work, she will always be lovingly remembered as a treasured and loyal wife to Frank, adored mom to us and Maw Maw to her granddaughter, Jean’s legacy to the future.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover, AL. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. prior to the graveside service at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL.
