Georgia "Ann" DuVall Obituary

Georgia ‘Ann’ DuVall, 83, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away 10/27/20 in Sun City West, Arizona.  She was born on 03/30/37 to Ruby and George Olsen in Russell, Kansas.

She lived in several different cities, states, and homes during her life.  She lived a life of optimism and adventure and was never afraid to meet new people or try new things.  She loved learning and never stopped. She had a self-taught successful dog grooming business, owned an antique store, she sold real estate, she had a house cleaning business, and she sold her hand made jewelry and artwork.  She worked until she was 76 years old cleaning houses. She was a force of nature who survived loss and heartache but never gave up her joy in life’s possibilities.

She loved to garden, enjoyed mazes – “I am very good at mazes. What do you think that says about me?”, hiking, and baked the best pies.  When she retired, she began working on jigsaw puzzles and had 4 card tables set up with ongoing puzzles. As with everything she did it was with her very loved Chihuahua, Zippity Do Dah (Zippy) by her side.

She is loved and missed by her children:  Andy, Charisse, and Bud and her grandchildren Laura and Ashley. She is finally reunited with Corky.

She loved her children and never stopped being there for them.  She was very funny and brought up all her children with a love of sarcasm and humor.

 It was a wild ride.

We love you, mom.
