<p>Elaine Myers Langley, 75, of Plainville, CT, went home to be with the Lord on November 9, 2020.&nbsp; She was born October 19, 1945, daughter of Fausta (Radicioni) Myers and Trooper Harry A. Myers Jr. of Mystic.</p> <p>Elaine grew up in Mystic, Hartford, and Collinsville.&nbsp; As a child, she enjoyed family picnics and drive-in movies.&nbsp; She treasured memories of family vacations on a cabin cruiser, fishing and swimming in the Mystic River and the Sound.&nbsp; After graduating from Canton High School in 1964, she went on to a series of jobs as a bookkeeper, telephone operator, and at Roosevelt Mills clothing store.&nbsp; She found her calling caring for others, as an Alzheimer&#39;s specialist and as a cafeteria aid at Lewis S. Mills High School.</p> <p>Elaine married Richard Langley on June 18, 1966, at St. Patrick&rsquo;s Catholic Church in Burlington.&nbsp; They recently celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.&nbsp; Together, Elaine and Richard enjoyed travelling to visit family, taking day trips, and going for drives.&nbsp; Elaine loved spending time at the beach and keeping in touch with friends near and far.&nbsp; She was skilled at sewing and mending clothes, and baked a constant supply of chocolate chip cookies.&nbsp; Elaine enjoyed dining out, a good slice of cheesecake, the movies, and photographing family and friends for photo albums. Delighting in her role as Noni, Elaine was deeply involved in the lives of her grandsons, and seeing her nieces and nephews and their children grow up.</p> <p>Elaine was predeceased by her parents, and siblings Diane Marsden and Richard Bartolucci.&nbsp; In addition to her husband, she is survived by son Richard Langley, Jr. (Katie Boiteau) of New Britain, daughter Lisa Romano (Kenneth Ouellette) of Burlington, twin sister Marguerite Myers Mischak (Michael) of Collinsville, sister Michele Woodward (James) of New Hartford, grandsons Douglas Romano (Breanna Iannone) of Burlington, and Jason Romano of Plainville.</p> <p>A celebration of Elaine&rsquo;s life will be held privately by the family.&nbsp;</p>

Elaine Myers Langley, 75, of Plainville, CT, went home to be with the Lord on November 9, 2020.  She was born October 19, 1945, daughter of Fausta (Radicioni) Myers and Trooper Harry A. Myers Jr. of Mystic.
