Hoa Nguyen, 80, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 in a local nursing home. She was born in Hai Phong, Vietnam on April 16, 1940 to Can Van Nguyen and Chach Thi Nguyen. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Nghiep Bui. Funeral Mass is 11:30AM, Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith. Rosary is 6:00PM Friday November 13th at the funeral home. Mrs. Nguyen may be viewed from 1-7PM on Friday. She is survived by her four daughters, Lilly Nguyen and her husband Eric, Lan Powers and her husband Richard, Mo Bui and her husband Phan and Dawn Bui and her husband Woi Chung Tie; four sons, Lap Bui and his wife Kay, Bao Bui and his husband Michael White, Sherman Bui and Johnson Bui; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
