Alexis Vega Cruz, 23, a resident Hillsboro community, died Wednesday evening, November 4, 2020, in Hillsboro. ALEXIS VEGA CRUZ was born December 25, 1996 in Hillsboro, Oregon, the son of Jose Vega and Maria Cruz. He was raised and received his education in the Hillsboro community. He had worked as a laborer in the landscape industry for several years. Big Kat was a member of the St. Alexander Parish in Cornelius. Among his special interests, he enjoyed sketching and drawing. He loved music, was the life of the party and loved hanging out with his friends. He and his friends enjoyed graffiti on the down-low. You all know who you are! Survivors include his parents, Jose Vega and Maria Cruz, of Hillsboro, Oregon; his five brothers and four sisters. Also surviving are his grandparents, Jesus Cruz and Estella Reyes, of Michoacan, Mexico and his eight nieces and nephews, Alexander; Sebastian; Ariana; Adriana; Marilyn; Sophia; Marco and Emily. Arrangements are entrusted to Fuiten, Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home in Forest Grove.
