Nancy Ann Richardson, 60, of Olathe, KS, passed away November 9, 2020. Visitation will be held at 9:00 A.M. Thursday, November 19th, 2020 followed by Rosary-eulogy at 10:30 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 555 W. Main, Gardner, KS. Arrangements: Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS (913) 856-7111. Nancy was born February 17, 1960 to John and Sharon K. (Messick) Freiling. She was raised by her devoted aunt, Lillian Herman, in Hannibal, MO. Nancy graduated from high school in Hannibal, MO. She later lived in Raytown, MO and went on to spend her last 30 years in Olathe. Nancy earned her BS in Nursing from St. Luke’s College and her Master’s degree in Health Policy and Management from the University of Kansas. She worked as a CRN at St. Luke’s Cardiovascular Consultants at St. Luke’s on the Plaza. Nancy was a “Do It Yourselfer” who enjoyed singing, animals, horse shows, hiking, gardening, scuba diving, reading, sewing, drawing, and painting. She was also a history buff who enjoyed studying the Civil War and Native American history, visiting museums, collecting Civil War artifacts and arrowheads. Nancy enjoyed traveling especially to Scotland. She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church in Gardner, KS, the American Quarter Horse Association and Operating Engineers Local 101. Nancy will be dearly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Tristen Richardson, Olathe, KS; Animals: Rosie, Nike, Dexter, Mystery, Uno and Viente; siblings: Lynn Neff, Iowa, Vicki Tillman, Marthasville, MO, Michelle Tillman, Washington, MO, John Freiling, Hannibal, MO, David Tillman, Olathe, KS and Bill Tillman, Raytown, MO; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
