Silver Ridge - Lillian A. McAvoy, 74 died November 4, 2020 in Lincoln. She was born September 27, 1946 in West Jonesport the daughter of Kenneth and Helen (Ellis) Wallace. Lill worked as a CNA in her earlier years and was an avid crafter. She was an excellent seamstress and love to knit and crochet. She is survived by her husband Joseph McAvoy of Silver Ridge, three children Joanne Burgess and Mike of Millinocket, Joannie Cunningham of Holden and Joseph Cunningham of Mattawamkeg. Five step children who she thought of as her own, Cynthia McAvoy of Augusta, Joseph McAvoy Jr., of Newport, Julie O’Hara and Jim of Silver Ridge, Frank McAvoy and Jolene of Sherman and Larry McAvoy and Bridget of Silver Ridge. Lill had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Hillman Kenneth Cunningham and two grandsons Jeffrey Ryan Andrews and Branden Cunningham. The family would like to give a special thank you to Mary Willet who gave such wonderful care to both Lill and Joe for many years. We would also like to thank everyone at colonial Hills and Beacon hospice for giving Lill such good care of the past year and a half. Because of COVID-19 mandates family and close friends may call from 12 to 1 PM Friday, November 13, 2020 at Saint Benedicts Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm with Fa.
