Debbie Lambert Obituary

Debbie Joyce Lambert August 4, 1963 – November 1, 2020 It is deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Debbie Lambert, lifelong resident of Chetwynd, BC who slipped away quietly in her home on the evening of November 1, 2020. Debbie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, aunt and friend who will be remembered for her kind and loving heart; her soft spot for babies and children; her love of animals and her deep connection to the many people that she encountered throughout her lifetime, many of whom were lifelong friends. Debbie had an incredible sense of humor and a sharp wit that could bring out laughter from almost anyone, whether they were family, friends and or strangers. To meet her was to instantly like her - to know her was to love her. She was the kind of person who saw the best in people, accepting everyone as they were, often offering a smile, a cheery greeting or a hug to people along her way. We remember our dear Debbie for her heart of gold and her thoughtful nature; who often gave her own humble belongings so someone else would not have to go without, doing so without reservation or regret. Many positive qualities come to mind as we remember her, all her virtues and qualities and her little quirks and habits that made up this beautiful soul that we all knew and came to love . . . her beautiful smile, often accompanied by a hug, that could say “I love you, glad to see you and come on in” all at the same time and when parting company leaving us with a simple “love ya!” Debbie leaves to mourn her passing: her husband Julian (Chunky), daughter Kristen and her family, son Douglas, sisters Brenda, Bev, Marline (Darryl), brother Wilbert (Marian), Uncle Herb (Auntie Maizie) numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, several very close and dear friends and her beloved fur-kids Shadow and Flopper. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions there will be no funeral or service at this time. Debbie will be cremated and will rest at home with Chunky, Shadow and Flopper until the summer of 2021 when we will have a Celebration of Life and interment. This will be announced at a later date. Respectfully, The Kurjata and Lambert Families
