Mildred Annette Leslie, age 93, peacefully entered into heaven, surrounded by family on November 8, 2020.  She was born March 11, 1927 in Fort Worth, Texas to Mattie Gertrude Kelton Jackson and Landon J. Jackson. She married John Thompson Leslie lll on March 25, 1951 who preceded her in death on June 8, 1976.  Annette was first and foremost a dedicated mother. She treasured her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and embraced every moment she could with them.  Annette was preceded in death by her sister June Otto of San Leandro, CA, her stepson James Leslie Gilderman of Danville, CA and her son John Thompson Leslie IV of Scottsdale, AZ.  Survivors include her daughters Robin Johnston (Robert) of Chicago, IL and Marsha South of Goodyear, AZ, Grand children John Nathaniel Leslie Steinmann, Katherine Johnston Schraml (Nicholas), Kevin South (Amy), Heidi Johnston Buckles (Clif), Rachelle Johnston Gasior (Zach), Stephen South, Robert Johnston III, Joshua South, Margaret Johnston, Rebekah South and Samuel South.  She also leaves behind eight great grandchildren.  A visitation will begin a 10 am with a funeral service at 11 am Friday, November 13th at Messinger Indian School Mortuary. Graveside service will follow at Paradise Memorial Gardens in Scottsdale, Arizona.
