1931-2019<br> Richard Klapper, age 88, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on, Monday, June 17, 2019. He was born in Bronx, New York in 1931. Richard first met his wife of 62 years when he was 9 years old. They were married in 1954. In 1976 they moved to New Mexico from Connecticut with there children. He later became a real estate broker in Belen and then on to become a sales man at Auge's. Dick had a never-ending sense of humor and always had a joke for everything. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. The family has chosen. Richard is preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn; daughter, Sue; his mother and father; and brother. He is survived by his daughters, Michele and Randy; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.The family has chosen to celebrate his life in private.
