Mary E. Kelly, 66, of Garrett, passed on January 23, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown. Born December 4, 1952 in Westernport, MD, she was a daughter of the late John and Josephine (Riggleman) Winkler. She is also preceded in death by her husband Charles “Pappy” Kelly in 2015; and her brother Willard Duckworth. Mary is survived by her children Beverly Shaffer (Jeffrey) of Berlin, Penny Kelly (Jonathan Ohler) of Berlin, and Andrew Kelly (Kelley) of Garrett; grandchildren Melisha Strickenberger, Kelsey Helmick, Dakota Kelly, Owain Kelly, Courtney Helmick, and Riley Shaffer; great-grandchildren Haleigh and Zailey; siblings Darlene Rody of Meyersdale, Sarah Beal (Victor) of Meyersdale, John Winkler (Diann) of Somerset, Virginia Winkler of Meyersdale, Harry Winkler (Kim) of Garrett, and Christine Nicholson (David) of Meyersdale; and best friend Pam Morgan. Mary was a 31 year employee of the Meyersdale Rehabilitation Center. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 10 A.M. til 2 P.M. with a service to immediately follow at 2 P.M. Saturday at MILLER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, SOMERSET, Pastors Sam Coughenour and Doug Burns officiating. Interment will be at Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Comments (1)
