Melvin Joe Bell Obituary

Melvin Joe Bell of Thatcher passed away on November 6, 2020 in Tucson after losing his battle with lung cancer.  He was born on May 18, 1952, in Dodge City, Kansas to Howard Bell & Betty Foley Bell with siblings Jane, Rita, Paul, Shirley, Connie, Carol, and Clifford Bell.

Melvin attended High School in Ford, Kansas and quickly entered the Reserves.  He worked in the construction industry until retiring.  He enjoyed fishing and horses but his true loves was his dogs, Dazy & Tooley.  His whole life was his dogs, he loved them very much.  Melvin also like to help people and enjoyed remodeling outdoors.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He was truly loved.

He is survived by his siblings Jane Wolfe, Rita Taylor, Paul Riley, Shirley Millershaski, Connie Leach, Carol Chavarria, and Clifford Bell.

Melvin is preceded in death by his parents Howard & Betty Bell.
