She followed the Lord's call on September 8, 1953 to the Sisters of St. Frances of Penance and Christian Charity at Marycrest Convent in Denver, CO. After three years of Novitiate training that introduced her to the ways of Religious Life, she said her first vows on August 15, 1956, professed her final vows August 15, 1959, and took the name of Sr. Mary Regina. She taught at St. Agnes Academy in Alliance, NE and a year at St. Francis Mission, SD, before returning to Denver in 1961. Her TV was always tuned in to the sports channel. She was such a wonderful Servant, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, artist, sculptor, carver, musician, counselor, babysitter, care giver, entertainer, story teller extraordinaire, etc., and wore each hat with such grace! She could mimic everyone she had a story about, and make the sounds of so many musical instruments. She was so loved and will be missed by so many. She was a friend to everyone and could talk to anyone. When you talked with her, you were the most important person to her at that time! She was always thankful for her parents, her sisters-in-Christ, the Boyle sisters, her teachers, relatives, and friends.
