Jim Gale Obituary

Jim Gale, 59, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.  He was born on January 2, 1961 to the late Bill and Elizabeth (Baciu) Gale in Anderson, Indiana.

Jim was a 1979 graduate of Anderson High School and a 1983 Ball State University graduate.  He worked as Reimbursement Manager for Community Health Network and was a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson.  Jim was a member of the National Indy 500 Collector’s Club and enjoyed gathering race memorabilia.  He was also a contributor to the Short Chute Racing Newsletter and attended the Indy 500 the last 50 years.  Jim was a Civil War collector who enjoyed visiting battle fields.  He was an avid reader and was a fan of the Atlanta Falcons football team and Atlanta Braves baseball team.  

Jim is survived by his wife, Lynn Gale; sister, Diane (Steve) Alfrey; brother, Bill (Linda) Gale; niece, Megan Alfrey McCutcheon; nephews, Mark Gale, Josh Alfrey, and Jeremy Gale; sister-in-law, Liz Adams; and brother-in-law, Gene Henderson.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.  Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the funeral home, with Pastor Art Jaggard officiating.  Entombment will be at Hamilton Memorial Park Cemetery in Westfield.
