Cathi Marie McAdam

Cathi Marie McAdam of Milwaukie, Oregon passed away aged 71 on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020. She died peacefully, at home in the company of her children and loved ones after a short battle with cancer. Cat was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, where she lived all of her life. She spent her life raising a family and engaging in numerous artistic pursuits, including painting, mosaic art, graphic design, and furniture restoration. She even sang with her husband’s band and made jewelry. Her talents and ambitions seemed to be boundless, as she was never afraid to try new things and almost always succeeded at them. Cat will also be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She was central to the lives of her children and grandchildren and will be missed forever. Cat leaves behind countless friends and loved ones, including two children, and their spouses, Joshua (Betsy) of Milwaukie, and Deja (Joel) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; three grandsons, Cameron, Tyler, and Isaac; and two beloved pets, her dog Bowie and her cat Chloe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oak, with whom she spent 36 years. She asked that in light of the COVID-19 pandemic there be no memorial, and that instead people donate money, time, or resources to their favorite animal charity.
