Troy Lawrence Sweet

Troy Lawrence Sweet, born April 7, 1964, to Earl and Dorothy Sweet in Welling, Oklahoma and entered into eternal rest on November 8, 2020. He was baptized in January of 1986, into the General Assembly and Church of the First Born. Troy was the third of seven children. Troy married Marcia Sanders Sweet in May 1989. To this union they had four children together, Levi Camron, Benjamin Troy, Hannah Mae, and Emelia Dallas.

Troy was a devoted husband and father and loved his wife and kids more than anything. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying all things outside. Troy loved hunting, working in his yard and on his place, and gardening. He was employed at Caney Creek Ranch for over thirteen years. He loved his job and was very proud of his work. Troy loved all different kinds of music and enjoyed playing his guitar with family and his many friends throughout the years. Most of all he enjoyed the times he got to play guitar and sing with his four children.

Troy was preceded in death by his nephew Randy Catron, mother Dorothy Sweet, dad Earl Sweet, brother Keith Sweet, and mother-in-law Diana Sanders.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife Marcia Sweet of Welling, children Levi Sweet & Sydney Cole, Benjamin Sweet, Hannah & husband Elisha Rodgers, and Emelia Sweet all of Welling. A loving father-in-law George Sanders. Four sisters, three brothers, lots of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, and many loving friends and neighbors.
