Ronald L. Dinsmore

Ronald L. Dinsmore, 66, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020, at home, with his wife by his side. Ron was born in Phoenix, AZ, on September 16, 1954, a son of the late William and Audrey (Callahan) Dinsmore. On April 26, 1975, Ron married Pamela Volna; she survives. At the age of 18 Ron became employed by Meadville Forging. He worked in the Press Room until 2012 when his health declined. He had a strong work ethic and delighted in caring for his family. He was a member of Vernon Central Hose, the Italian Civic Club, and the former Meadville Club. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and had a knack for making beef jerky. Ron's family was the most important thing in his life. He enjoyed attending all the sporting and school events of his children and grandchildren. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his devotion to his family. He will be sadly missed. In addition to his wife, Pamela, of 45 years, Ron is survived by three children William John Dinsmore (Tanya) of New Port News, VA, Gregory Alan Dinsmore (Carrie) of Meadville, Jennifer Lynn Bordner (Nick) of Casselberry, FL; four grandchildren Ethan Dinsmore, Brennen Dinsmore, Emmett Dinsmore, Natalie Jablonski; a sister Cathy Chapman of Jamestown, NY; a brother William Dinsmore of Wesley Chapel, FL; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by an infant son Ronald Lee Dinsmore and a brother Larry Dinsmore. Per Ron's request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made in Ron's name to Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Road, or Hospice of Crawford County, 766 Liberty St., Meadville, PA 16335.
