Irene Wanda Forderhase, 94, of Berger, MO, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at New Haven Care Center.

Irene was born in Berger, Missouri on January 11, 1926, the daughter of the late Robert & Wanda (Albietz) Colter.

She was the widow of Darrel W. Forderhase.  They were united in marriage on June 22, 1946, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Haven, MO.  Darrel preceded her in death on April 27, 2011.

Irene was a former member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Berger, Missouri.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, traveling and going on bus tours with her husband and family.

Irene is survived by a daughter, Carroll LaBoube & husband Leon, of Berger, Missouri; a son, Dale Forderhase, of Berger, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Fay Colter, of New Haven, Missouri; two grandsons, Kelly LaBoube, of Reno, Nevada; and Kent LaBoube & wife TeNeile, of Lebanon, Tennessee; and a granddaughter, Nicole Burrell & husband Michael, of Magnolia, Texas and by seven great grandchildren, Gwen, Alma, Edie & Isla LaBoube and Jacob, Nathan and Brenna Burrell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Ralph "Bud" Colter, and a sister, Betty Fleer.

Private funeral services will be held.  Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery, Berger, Missouri.
