Stanley Spera

Stanley Spera, 84, passed away on November 6, 2020 in Naperville, Illinois. He was born in Salata, Poland on October 15, 1936. After completing technical school in Krakow, Poland, he worked in a coal mine before emigrating to the United States where he proudly served in the U.S. Army, based at Fort Carson, Colorado, before working for steel fabricators in Melrose Park, Illinois. Stanley was patriotic and loved the United States while maintaining cultural and familial ties to his native Poland. He loved to spend time with his family, including his nieces and nephews, and he especially enjoyed his wonderful grandchildren. A loving father and grandfather, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Jenne nee Frankowski. Loving father of Stanley (Annamarie) Spera and Albert (Alissa) Spera. Grandfather of Jessica, Joseph, Marina, Patrick, Brendan and David Spera. He will be interned at Mary Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Funeral services will be private.
