Peter Allen Petrowski Obituary

Peter A Petrowski June 27, 1950 - November 3rd, 2020 Peter passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 3rd, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sheila; his daughter, Megan(Jesse), and grandkids, his true pride and joy; Kyler, Gabrielle and Emilee. His brothers Ken, David (Nancy) and nieces and nephew. He was born in Chicago, to Peter and Virginia, where he developed his loyalty for all Chicago sports teams. He brought his love of Chicago with him when he moved to Tucson at 13. He attended Amphi High School class of 1968 and continued on to University of Arizona where he graduated from the College of Architecture in 1974. He went on to build a career as custom home designer and his beautiful homes were built all over Tucson and Arizona as well as Michigan and Virginia. He was a diehard Wildcat fan and had years of being a season football ticket holder with his brother and best of friends. Peter will be missed by his family and endless amounts of friends. He could talk to anyone, anywhere and always had a joke to make, most of the time inappropriate. He valued every single person in his life and truly saw the very best in everyone. He would open his heart and home for anyone especially at Christmas since he loved to go over board every year with food. He was a great cook and had his specialties of chili and oxtail soup that were always a big production and would always make enough to share. He loved going to the swap meet on Saturday mornings, Frys and Costco multiple times a week and Harbor Freight. He loved finding good deals and was always bringing home something that his family would react with “but why?” like a broken karaoke machine. He loved being a grandpa and his grandkids brought a different light to his day, especially Kyler. He would always joke everything in the house was females including the animals until Kyler came along and they forever had a special bond. He loved being surrounded by lots of people and hosting big parties, over the years his parties grew smaller but he loved his family and friends. With being restricted to truly celebrate him this year, his family has decided to postpone his celebration of life until 2021 when we can do it right and know he would love bringing everyone together. There will be a small graveside burial for family and details to come of next year‘s celebration of life.
