<p> Mable E. Orth, 96, West Fargo, ND formerly of Casselton, ND passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at Sheyenne Crossings in West Fargo surrounded by family.</p> <p> Mable Edna Westra was born February 3, 1924 in Inwood, Iowa to Claus and Alice (Torkelson) Westra. Mable graduated from Inwood High School. She moved to Seattle and worked for Boeing in the office from 1943 to 1946. Mable married Alvin Orth on July 13, 1946. They lived and farmed near Forman, ND where they raised their four children. In 1965 they moved to Casselton, ND.</p> <p> Mable enjoyed painting, needlepoint, gardening, baking, and playing Bridge. Her greatest pleasure though was spending time with her beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.</p> <p> Mable is survived by her son Jerry (Glenda) Orth, daughters Debbie (Dave) Shuttleworth, Joan (Bob) Waslien, and Mary (Tom) Myers; 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.</p> <p> Mable was preceded in death by her husband Alvin in January of 2020 after 74 years of marriage and her three sisters; LaVonne Wahlund, Clarice Wallace, and Phyllis Campbell.</p> <p><strong>Visitation: </strong>Friday, November 13, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, West Fargo, ND.</p> <p><strong>Funeral Mass: </strong>Friday, November 13, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, West Fargo, ND. </p> <p> <strong>Burial:</strong> St. Leo’s Catholic Cemetery, Casselton, ND following the mass.</p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center</strong></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>westfuneralhome.com</strong></p>Obituary
